How did we get here...

Many, many years of thinking, writing, taking pictures and drawing. Where does that leave me? Right here.

As a kid, I was fascinated by Darrin Stephens on Bewitched; I would ask myself, "Someone thinks, writes, takes pictures and draws images, then marries it all together... and that's a career?" Sign me up!

Well, a few bends in the road and some other distractions and I ended up doing something else as a career, but that didn't stop me from doing what I love in my spare time.

Am I a creative person? Most people would say yes. After all, I have written short stories and copy for many people (including myself and in my previous career). I have been taking pictures since I was a kid. And lots of drawings in the margins of notebooks (turned into a collage for the wall of our college apartment), displaying my art anywhere I could and designing things since I was a teenager. And, I have been solving problems with creative and strategic thinking all of my life.

I'm the guy that drew the logo for our band and created our business cards when I was 17 years old. The one who was writing the funny stories in high school that were being passed around. The same guy who took the concert pictures in the 70's and used to print them and give them to his friends. And the same guy who used to move his audience to act with a simple presentation, a short speech, a picture that said a thousand words or an email that said a lot with only a few words.

Lots of experience. Lots of ideas.
